Overview
LLB is a three-year law degree for people who already hold a bachelor’s degree in any subject. It leads to enrolment as an advocate.
The LLB covers the core law papers set by the Bar Council of India, including contracts, torts, constitutional law, criminal law, evidence, civil procedure, property, company and labour law.
Clinical papers on drafting, professional ethics, dispute resolution and moot courts prepare students for practice. Graduates enrol with a State Bar Council and then sit the All India Bar Examination.
