The Institute of Legal Studies and Research at Mangalayatan University, Aligarh, offers BA LLB, LLB and one- or two-year LLM courses at 2026-27 fees.

Mangalayatan University is a private university on the Aligarh-Mathura Highway at Beswan, near Aligarh, with a campus of more than 72 acres. Law is taught in the Institute of Legal Studies and Research under the Faculty of Law, and the university home page lists Bar Council of India approval. Students can join the five-year integrated BA LLB after Class 12, or the three-year LLB after graduation. For law graduates the institute offers an LLM in IPR, Criminal Law, Banking and Finance, or Corporate Law, as either a one-year or a two-year course. The 2026-27 fee page lists 70,000 rupees a year for BA LLB, LLB and the two-year LLM, and 90,000 rupees for the one-year LLM, plus an exam fee.

Applicants fill the online application form for session 2026-27 on the Mangalayatan website and pay a Rs 500 application fee. The admission page lists only minimum eligibility for each programme and names no entrance test. BA LLB takes Class 12 students, LLB needs a graduate degree and LLM needs an LLB.

• Bachelor of Laws: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in any discipline; BCI minimum not below 45%
• Integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws: Studying in: Class 12; At least 45% marks in Class 12
• Master of Laws: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; LL.B. or equivalent law degree; final-year LL.B. students may apply
