About
YUVIKA is ISRO’s two-week residential space science programme for students who have just finished Class 9. Selected students from every state and union territory spend time at ISRO centres learning about space science and technology.
YUVIKA (Yuva Vigyani Karyakram) brings a few hundred students from all states and UTs to ISRO centres every summer. In 2026 it ran from 11 to 22 May at nine centres, including VSSC Thiruvananthapuram, SAC Ahmedabad, URSC Bengaluru and SDSC-SHAR Sriharikota.
Over 1 lakh students registered for the 2026 edition and 456 were selected. Watch the ISRO website early in the year for the next call and selection rules.
