Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) is a deemed university in Dayalbagh, Agra. It has faculties of arts, commerce, engineering, education, science and social science and is known for low fees.

DEI grew out of institutions run by the Radhasoami Satsang Sabha at Dayalbagh and received deemed university status in 1981. Its faculties cover arts, commerce, engineering, education, science and social science. It offers B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc, B.Com, BA, BBA and B.Ed at undergraduate level, and MBA, M.Tech, MA, M.Sc and M.Com at postgraduate level. Fees are modest compared with most private universities. It is placed in the 151-200 band of the NIRF 2025 engineering list.

Admission

Admission through: Entrance test, Interview

B.Tech admission is through JEE Main followed by counselling, and B.Arch uses NATA. Most other undergraduate courses use CUET UG or the institute's own test, followed by counselling and sometimes an interview. Postgraduate courses use DEI's own entrance test and counselling. • Bachelor of Business Administration: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks
• Bachelor of Commerce: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks and may ask for Mathematics or Accountancy
• Bachelor of Education: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's and/or master's degree in a relevant discipline
• Bachelor of Science: Studying in: Class 12; Science stream usually required; universities set subject and minimum mark rules
• Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
• Master of Arts: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; three- or four-year bachelor's degree; subject requirements vary (e.g. DU M.A. Economics needs Mathematics in Class 12 or 4 credits of Mathematics in the degree)
• Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
• Master of Commerce: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; B.Com (Hons/Pass) or equivalent such as BBA, BMS or BBE (University of Delhi)
• Master of Science: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; two-year M.Sc after a three-year bachelor's or one-year M.Sc after a four-year bachelor's; universities set their own marks
• Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
