Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies is a private pharmacy college of the MIT Group on Dewas Road, Ujjain, offering D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M.Pharm since 2002.

Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies (MIPS) is the pharmacy college of the Mahakal (MIT) Group of Institutes in Ujjain, set up in 2002 by the Prasar Shikshan Evam Seva Sansthan. The campus is behind the air strip on Dewas Road, shared with the group’s engineering and management colleges. MIPS is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE. It teaches the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy, the four-year B.Pharm and the M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy. Hostels, a large library, laboratories, a health centre, Wi-Fi and transport are listed among its facilities.

Admission

Admission through: Merit, Entrance test

B.Pharm seats are filled through the online centralised counselling of the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, with registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting to the college. D.Pharm admission is on the merit of the qualifying exam. M.Pharm admission is on merit, with preference to GPAT-qualified candidates.

Bachelor of Pharmacy: Studying in: Class 12; Science subjects as specified by PCI Education Regulations; institution must be PCI-approved for the degree to count for registration
Master of Pharmacy: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Pharmacy; At least 55% marks in UG; B.Pharm from a PCI-approved institution; registration with the State Pharmacy Council (required by JSS AHER within one month of admission)
