About Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) is a state university in Indore, set up in 1964, with a NAAC A+ grade and teaching schools in management, computer science, engineering, sciences, law, journalism and more.
DAVV was created in 1964 by a Madhya Pradesh Act and was earlier called the University of Indore. Its teaching departments are spread over the Takshashila, Nalanda and Avanti campuses. Well-known units include the Institute of Management Studies, the International Institute of Professional Studies, the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the School of Computer Science and IT. Most UG and PG seats are filled using CUET scores and university counselling. It holds a NAAC A+ grade.

Admission
Admission through: Entrance test, Interview, Merit
Most UG courses admit students on CUET-UG scores, followed by university counselling, merit lists and document checks. PG courses such as M.Sc, MBA and M.Com use CUET-PG in the same way, while some PG courses are filled by counselling or interview. M.Tech gives preference to GATE or GPAT scores. PhD admission is through the Doctoral Entrance Test and an interview.

- Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
- Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
- Master of Commerce: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; B.Com (Hons/Pass) or equivalent such as BBA, BMS or BBE (University of Delhi)
- Master of Computer Applications: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
- Master of Science: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; two-year M.Sc after a three-year bachelor's or one-year M.Sc after a four-year bachelor's; universities set their own marks
- Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
