Gujarat Vidyapith is a deemed university in Ahmedabad founded by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920, offering BA, B.Sc, BCA, B.Ed, MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA and PhD programmes.
Gujarat Vidyapith was set up by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920 and became a deemed university in 1963. It is funded by the UGC and its main campus is on Ashram Marg in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. Teaching is organised in faculties of languages and literature, social science, education, physical education, science, information and communication technology, and management and commerce. Programmes include a BA and MA in economics, B.Sc and M.Sc in microbiology, BCA, MCA and M.Sc IT, B.Ed and M.Ed, an MBA in rural management and PhD research in most departments. Many seats carry reservation as per Government of India rules.

Admission
Admission through: Merit, Entrance test
Applications are made online on the Gujarat Vidyapith admission portal. A separate portal is used for PG applicants who took CUET (PG). PhD seats depend on vacancies with research supervisors and follow the Ph.D. Rules 2022 of the university.

- Master of Computer Applications: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
