Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University is a state private university at Kotda Santaur near Prem Nagar, Dehradun, notified in 2016, with a medical college and programmes in health sciences, education, management, arts, science and commerce.

Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University was notified as a state private university in Uttarakhand in December 2016 and appears on the UGC list of private universities. Its campus, Subhartipuram, is at Kotda Santaur off Aamwala Road near Prem Nagar on the western side of Dehradun. Its colleges include Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya for MBBS and Uttaranchal College of Education for B.Ed, alongside programmes in pharmacy, paramedical sciences, management, computer applications, journalism, arts, science and commerce. MBBS seats are filled through NEET UG and Uttarakhand medical counselling. Most other undergraduate courses need Class 12 in a relevant stream with the stated minimum marks, and postgraduate courses need a relevant bachelor's degree, usually with 50 per cent. B.Ed needs a bachelor's degree with 50 per cent, and PhD needs a master's degree with 55 per cent.

• Bachelor of Management Studies: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Mathematics; Mathematics or Applied Mathematics in Class 12 from a single recognised board; University of Delhi admits through CUET (UG) with one Language + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics + one List B subject + General Aptitude Test
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Chemistry; Must have studied: Biology; Must have studied: English; Biotechnology accepted in place of Biology; age 17 on or before 31 January of the NEET-UG year; minimum eligible score in NEET-UG
• Bachelor of Pharmacy: Studying in: Class 12; Science subjects as specified by PCI Education Regulations; institution must be PCI-approved for the degree to count for registration
• Bachelor of Science: Studying in: Class 12; Science stream usually required; universities set subject and minimum mark rules
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Studying in: Class 12; Stream: Science (PCB); Must have studied: English; At least 45% marks in Class 12; minimum age 17 on 31 December of the admission year
• Doctor of Medicine: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery; MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate recognised under the NMC Act 2019; permanent or provisional registration with NMC/State Medical Council; one-year internship completed by the cut-off date; NEET-PG qualification
• Master of Arts: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; three- or four-year bachelor's degree; subject requirements vary (e.g. DU M.A. Economics needs Mathematics in Class 12 or 4 credits of Mathematics in the degree)
• Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
• Master of Commerce: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; B.Com (Hons/Pass) or equivalent such as BBA, BMS or BBE (University of Delhi)
• Master of Computer Applications: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
