About Tulas University
Tulas University is a private university at Selaqui on Chakrata Road, Dehradun, offering engineering, management, law, pharmacy, agriculture, computing and journalism programmes.
Tulas began as Tulas Institute, an engineering and management college run by the Rishabh Educational Trust, and was notified as a university under the Uttarakhand Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2026. Before that its programmes were affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University. The campus is at Dhoolkot near Selaqui. It runs B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BCA, journalism, B.Pharm, law, B.Sc Agriculture, MBA and MCA programmes and holds a NAAC A+ grade. Fees depend on domicile and Class 12 marks, because tuition scholarships are linked to both.
