Maya Devi University is a private university at Selaqui on the edge of Dehradun that teaches engineering, management, computer applications, pharmacy, nursing, agriculture, law, education, hotel management, sciences and humanities.

Maya Devi University is a private university located in the Pharma City area of Selaqui, west of Dehradun in Uttarakhand. It has grown out of the Maya group of institutions and now runs a wide set of schools under one campus. Undergraduate options include B.Tech in computer science, civil, mechanical and electronics, BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Agriculture, BA, B.Sc, LLB, BA LLB, B.Ed and a four-year hotel management degree. At the postgraduate level it offers MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Sc and MA, and it also admits PhD scholars. Its 2025-26 fee sheet lists tuition from about 45,000 rupees a year for BA to 1.6 lakh for B.Sc Nursing, so students should compare the latest fee sheet before applying.

Applicants register on the university's online admission portal and fill the enquiry or application form for the 2026 session. Eligibility differs by programme, so read the course page and brochure first. A one-time registration fee and admission fee are payable at admission in addition to the yearly tuition. • Bachelor of Commerce: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks and may ask for Mathematics or Accountancy
• Bachelor of Computer Applications: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks (some run a mathematics bridge course)
• Bachelor of Education: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's and/or master's degree in a relevant discipline
• Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks
• Bachelor of Laws: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in any discipline; BCI minimum not below 45%
• Bachelor of Pharmacy: Studying in: Class 12; Science subjects as specified by PCI Education Regulations; institution must be PCI-approved for the degree to count for registration
• Bachelor of Science: Studying in: Class 12; Science stream usually required; universities set subject and minimum mark rules
• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture: Studying in: Class 12; At least 50% marks in Class 12; at least three of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (Agriculture may count); minimum age 16 as on 31 August of admission year
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Studying in: Class 12; Stream: Science (PCB); Must have studied: English; At least 45% marks in Class 12; minimum age 17 on 31 December of the admission year
• Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
• Integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws: Studying in: Class 12; At least 45% marks in Class 12
• Master of Arts: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; three- or four-year bachelor's degree; subject requirements vary (e.g. DU M.A. Economics needs Mathematics in Class 12 or 4 credits of Mathematics in the degree)
• Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
• Master of Computer Applications: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
• Master of Pharmacy: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Pharmacy; At least 55% marks in UG; B.Pharm from a PCI-approved institution; registration with the State Pharmacy Council (required by JSS AHER within one month of admission)
• Master of Science: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; two-year M.Sc after a three-year bachelor's or one-year M.Sc after a four-year bachelor's; universities set their own marks
• Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
• Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
