About Avantika University
Avantika University is a state private university on the outskirts of Ujjain, known for design, engineering, management and law programmes.
Avantika University opened in 2017 as a private university in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Its campus at Vishwanathpuram near Lekoda village is spread over about 60 acres. The university is best known for its design school, which teaches industrial design, animation and related fields at bachelor and master level. It also runs B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BCA and B.Sc programmes, integrated law degrees, MBA and MCA courses, and doctoral research. Students from Ujjain and nearby Indore can consider it as a smaller, studio-based campus with on-site hostels.

Admission
Admission through: Entrance test, Merit, Interview
B.Tech admission uses JEE Main scores followed by counselling and document checks. B.Des and M.Des applicants are assessed through a design aptitude test or accepted national design exams such as UCEED and CEED. Most other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes admit on the basis of Class 12 or graduation marks, and PhD candidates face an interview after shortlisting.
