Government College for Women at Parade Ground in Old Jammu was founded in 1944 and is one of the oldest women’s colleges in the Jammu region. It is a government college affiliated to the University of Jammu, and the UGC made it autonomous in 2014. Students can study BA and BA (Hons), B.Sc in medical, non-medical, electronics and biotechnology streams, B.Com (Hons) and BCA.
