IGNOU’s School of Engineering and Technology offers distance MBAs in construction and logistics, M.Sc programmes in energy and safety, and a B.Sc.
The School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) is one of the older schools of the Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi. It has disciplines in civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, architecture and renewable energy, and designs its programmes mainly for working technicians, engineers and managers. Its degree offerings are an MBA in Construction Management, an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, an M.Sc in Renewable Energy and Environment, an M.Sc in Industrial Safety and a B.Sc in Applied Science (Energy). It also runs PG diplomas and certificates in industrial safety, warehousing, smart cities, power distribution and waste treatment.

Admission
Admission through: Direct
Admission to this school's programmes is handled centrally by IGNOU through open and distance learning. Candidates apply online on the IGNOU Samarth admission portal (ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in) when the university opens an admission cycle, and most programmes admit students who meet the stated eligibility. PhD admissions run through a separate IGNOU PhD portal (ignou-phd.samarth.edu.in) with their own notification.
