Surajmal University is a young state private university founded in 2021 on a 26-acre campus at Siroly near Kichha in Udham Singh Nagar district, in the Terai belt of Uttarakhand. Its undergraduate courses include B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com (Hons), B.Sc, B.Pharm, B.Des, BPT, B.Optom and several paramedical and vocational degrees, along with nursing diplomas. At postgraduate level it offers MBA, MCA, M.Sc and M.Com. Admission is mostly merit-based on the qualifying examination, and the campus has hostels for boys and girls, a library, labs and transport, though parts are still being developed.

Admission
Admission through: Merit
Students register on the university website, fill in the online application and pay the application fee. Selection is based on marks in the qualifying examination, with seats allotted as per the reservation policy. Shortlisted candidates attend document verification (and counselling for PG courses) and pay the course fee to confirm the seat.

- Bachelor of Pharmacy: Studying in: Class 12; Science subjects as specified by PCI Education Regulations; institution must be PCI-approved for the degree to count for registration
- Bachelor of Science: Studying in: Class 12; Science stream usually required; universities set subject and minimum mark rules
- Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
