The Faculty of Commerce at the University of Lucknow, dating from 1921, has departments of commerce and applied economics and runs BBA, B.Com (Hons.), MBA and other management degrees.
The Faculty of Commerce is one of the original faculties of the University of Lucknow, set up in 1921. It has two departments, Commerce and Applied Economics, and is known for research projects and publications in commerce and business. At undergraduate level it lists the Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Management Sciences and B.Com (Honours). Its postgraduate list includes an MBA along with specialised master’s degrees in management sciences, corporate management, finance and control, and international business. The self-financing management courses are now run under the university’s Institute of Management Sciences. The commerce department alone turns out more than 160 postgraduate students each year.

Admission through: Entrance test, Merit
Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the University of Lucknow is done online through the university's Samarth admission portal each session. MBA and other self-financing management programmes of the faculty now run under the university's Institute of Management Sciences.
