About All India Institute of Medical Sciences Gorakhpur
AIIMS Gorakhpur is a central government medical institute at Kunraghat, Gorakhpur, set up by Act of Parliament in 2019 under PMSSY, offering MBBS, nursing and postgraduate medical courses.
AIIMS Gorakhpur was established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 2019 under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana and is governed by the AIIMS Act. Its campus is at Kunraghat, Gorakhpur. It admits 125 MBBS students a year through NEET-UG and MCC counselling. Its College of Nursing, started in 2022, runs B.Sc (Hons) Nursing and M.Sc Nursing. It also offers MD, MS, DM, MCh and PhD programmes.

Admission
Admission through: Entrance test
MBBS seats are filled through NEET-UG and online counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Allotted candidates report to AIIMS Gorakhpur with original documents for verification, a medical check and fee payment. B.Sc (Hons) Nursing admission is through the all-India entrance test run by AIIMS New Delhi.
