MNIT Jaipur is a National Institute of Technology in Jaipur, recognised as an Institute of National Importance, offering B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc and PhD programmes.

MNIT Jaipur began in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College and became a National Institute of Technology in 2002. An Act of Parliament made it an Institute of National Importance in 2007. It has 14 departments across engineering, architecture and planning, sciences, humanities and management. Undergraduates join B.Tech and B.Arch through JEE Main and JoSAA, while PG routes include CCMT for M.Tech and M.Plan and IIT JAM for M.Sc. In NIRF 2025 it ranked 12th in Architecture and Planning and 42nd in Engineering.

Admission

Admission through: Entrance test, Interview

B.Tech and B.Arch seats are filled only through JEE Main followed by JoSAA and CSAB counselling. M.Tech and M.Plan admissions go through CCMT, and M.Sc admissions through CCMN using the IIT JAM score. MBA and PhD candidates are picked through the institute's own selection after an open advertisement.

• Bachelor of Architecture: Studying in: Class 12; Stream: Science (PCM); NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 as required by the institution
• Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
• Master of Architecture: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Architecture; At least 50% marks in UG; B.Arch or equivalent; reservation relaxations as per Central or State Government policy
• Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
• Master of Planning: Studying in: UG; B.Plan, B.Arch or B.E./B.Tech (Civil or Planning); SPA Vijayawada asks 60% or CGPA 6.5 (55% or 6.0 for SC/ST)
• Master of Science: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; two-year M.Sc after a three-year bachelor's or one-year M.Sc after a four-year bachelor's; universities set their own marks
• Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
• Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
