Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) grew out of the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, which started in 1981. It now works as a state technical university on its Techno Campus at Ghatikia, with the Governor of Odisha as Chancellor. Students can join undergraduate B.Tech and B.Arch courses, postgraduate M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA and M.Sc courses, an integrated M.Sc and doctoral research. Admission
Admission through: Entrance test
OUTR fills its seats through state, national and institute-level entrance examinations. For B.Tech and other programmes covered by the state counselling, students should follow Odisha JEE rules for eligibility, reservation and the admission procedure. - Master of Architecture: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Architecture; At least 50% marks in UG; B.Arch or equivalent; reservation relaxations as per Central or State Government policy
- Master of Computer Applications: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
- Master of Science: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; two-year M.Sc after a three-year bachelor's or one-year M.Sc after a four-year bachelor's; universities set their own marks
- Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
- Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
