About School of Management, Gautam Buddha University

The School of Management at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, has taught MBA students since 2008 and also offers B.Com (Honours), M.Com, an executive MBA and PhD in business management.

The School of Management, also called the University School of Management, admitted its first MBA batch of 120 students in August 2008 at Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida. Its Department of Business Management covers finance and economics, human resources, marketing and international business, operations and decision science, strategy and entrepreneurship, and business analytics. Along with the two-year full-time MBA, the school lists an MBA in business analytics and data science, an executive MBA, a BBA-MBA dual degree with an exit option, B.Com (Honours), M.Com and a PhD for full-time scholars and working professionals. Teaching mixes lectures, case studies and problem solving, and students use the university library and computing facilities. The page notes that the Uttar Pradesh government supports eligible SC, ST and BPL students financially.

Admission

Applications for all Gautam Buddha University programmes are made online on the university admission portal (gbuadm.samarth.edu.in) when the admission notice for the session is released. Candidates check programme-wise eligibility in the prospectus, fill the form and pay the application fee online. Selection follows the admission rules notified by the university for that programme, after which shortlisted students verify documents and pay fees.

Bachelor of Commerce: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks and may ask for Mathematics or Accountancy
Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
Master of Commerce: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; B.Com (Hons/Pass) or equivalent such as BBA, BMS or BBE (University of Delhi)
Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
