About University School of Architecture and Planning, GGSIPU
USAP is the architecture and planning school of GGSIPU, offering a five-year B.Arch, an M.Arch in urban design, an M.Plan in urban and regional planning, and PhD research.
The University School of Architecture and Planning (USAP) is one of the teaching schools of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi. It began running its own B.Arch course on the university campus in August 2009, alongside supervising the course in affiliated colleges. Today it offers a five-year B.Arch with 120 seats, a postgraduate M.Arch in urban design, an M.Plan in urban and regional planning, and a PhD. Teaching follows a learning-by-doing approach with studios, workshops and a library of about 5,000 books, and stresses heritage, conservation and sustainable design. B.Arch admission uses NATA scores and Class 12 marks in equal weight.

Admission
Admission through: Entrance test, Merit
Admission to university school programmes is through GGSIPU centralised online counselling at ipu.admissions.nic.in. Depending on the course, merit is based on a national test (JEE Main, NATA, CLAT, NEET) or the GGSIPU Common Entrance Test, and CUET (UG) is used for vacant seats. The university publishes brochures, schedules and seat matrices on its admission page each year.

- Master of Architecture: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Architecture; At least 50% marks in UG; B.Arch or equivalent; reservation relaxations as per Central or State Government policy
- Master of Planning: Studying in: UG; B.Plan, B.Arch or B.E./B.Tech (Civil or Planning); SPA Vijayawada asks 60% or CGPA 6.5 (55% or 6.0 for SC/ST)
- Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
