The Department of Architecture, Town and Regional Planning is part of IIEST Shibpur, the Institute of National Importance beside the Botanic Garden in Howrah. B.Arch seats are filled on the basis of JEE Main Paper 2 (Part II) performance. For the Master of Urban and Regional Planning, B.Arch or B.Planning graduates, civil engineering graduates (GATE preferred) and postgraduates in Geography, Economics or Sociology (NET preferred) can apply. PhD admission is offered in architecture, town and regional planning and allied subjects.
