About BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus
BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus at Zuarinagar, opened in 2004, runs B.E., integrated M.Sc, M.E. and PhD programmes as a campus of a deemed university.
The K K Birla Goa Campus of BITS Pilani was commissioned in August 2004 on about 180 acres at Zuarinagar, roughly 10 km south of Vasco da Gama. BITS Pilani is a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act and is recognised as an Institution of Eminence. The Goa campus offers integrated first degrees: B.E. in six engineering branches and M.Sc in biological sciences, physics, chemistry, mathematics and economics. Higher-degree M.E. programmes include embedded systems, microelectronics, computer science, design engineering and sanitation science. PhD research is offered in ten departments.

- Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
- Master of Science: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; two-year M.Sc after a three-year bachelor's or one-year M.Sc after a four-year bachelor's; universities set their own marks
- Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
- Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
