About Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia
JMI’s Faculty of Law, set up in 1989, runs a five-year BA LLB (Hons), a two-year LLM with three specialisations and a PhD programme.
The Faculty of Law of Jamia Millia Islamia was set up in 1989 on the university’s campus at Jamia Nagar in south Delhi. It first taught a three-year LLB, which was replaced in 2002-03 by a five-year integrated BA LLB (Hons) that students join after Class 12. For graduates in law, the faculty offers a two-year LLM in which students can specialise in personal laws, corporate laws or criminal laws. It also guides doctoral research in law. Admission notices for all three programmes are issued through the central JMI admission portal.
