About Bikaner Technical University
Bikaner Technical University is a Rajasthan state technical university set up in 2017, running B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, BCA and PhD programmes from its Pugal Road campus in Bikaner.
Bikaner Technical University (BTU) was created by the Rajasthan government under Act No. 29 of 2017 to look after technical education in the Bikaner region. Its teaching campus is the University College of Engineering and Technology in the RIICO Karni Industrial Area on Pugal Road. BTU offers B.Tech branches such as Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Data Science and Agricultural Engineering, along with M.Tech specialisations, an MBA (including Agri-Business Management), a BCA and a PhD. Engineering admissions use JEE Main and REAP counselling, while M.Tech and MBA use GATE and management tests. The university also affiliates engineering and management colleges in its region.

Admission
Admission through: Entrance test, Merit
B.Tech seats are filled through JEE Main scores and the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) counselling. M.Tech admission needs a relevant B.Tech and a GATE score, and the MBA uses CAT, CMAT or MAT scores followed by counselling. PhD applicants apply on the university form after meeting the minimum marks rule.

- Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
- Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
- Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
