About NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology, Bhopal
NIIST is the first engineering college of the NRI Group on Raisen Road, Bhopal, teaching B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA programmes.
NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology, usually called NIIST, is the oldest member of the NRI Group of Institutions in Bhopal. The group says NIIST came into being in 2000 under the Taramathi Education Society, and it shares a campus address at Sajjan Singh Nagar on Raisen Road. The college runs full-time B.Tech branches such as Computer Science (including an AI and ML option), Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication and Information Technology. It also offers M.Tech specialisations in areas like VLSI, power electronics and production systems, along with MBA and MCA programmes. Hostel and transport facilities are available for students.

Admission through: Entrance test, Merit
Applicants can fill an enquiry form on the NRI Group admissions page or contact the admission office. The college website links to the Madhya Pradesh DTE counselling portal, through which seats in engineering and management colleges of the state are allotted. Check the current DTE notice for eligibility and the entrance score needed for each programme.

- Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
- Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
- Master of Computer Applications: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
- Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
