The School of Computing and Electrical Engineering is IIT Mandi’s largest engineering school, offering B.Tech in CSE, Electrical, Data Science and Microelectronics and VLSI, several M.Tech programmes and PhD.
The School of Computing and Electrical Engineering (SCEE) is one of the academic schools of IIT Mandi, a central government institute at Kamand in the Uche river valley near Mandi. It runs four-year B.Tech programmes in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science and Engineering, and Microelectronics and VLSI. For postgraduates it offers M.Tech degrees in VLSI, Power Electronics and Drives, Computer Science and Engineering and Electric Transportation, an MS by Research, and a PhD with coursework, a comprehensive exam and a thesis. The school works from Building A17 on the north campus and suits students aiming at chip design, software, power systems and AI research.

B.Tech seats in the school's branches are filled through IIT Mandi's institute-level undergraduate admission. M.Tech, MS (by Research) and PhD candidates apply in the institute's postgraduate admission rounds and are shortlisted by the school.
