The Design discipline of PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur runs a four-year B.Des (started in 2015), a two-year M.Des and a PhD in design.

The Design discipline is the design teaching unit of PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, a centrally funded institute in Jabalpur. Its undergraduate B.Des is a full-time, eight-semester programme that began in 2015. At postgraduate level it offers a two-year M.Des, and it also takes research scholars for a PhD. PhD applicants are expected to hold an M.Des, M.Tech or M.Arch. The unit sits alongside the engineering disciplines on the Dumna Airport Road campus, which lets design students work with engineering and manufacturing labs. Admission routes for each programme are announced through the institute admission portal.

The Design discipline admits students to a four-year B.Des, a two-year M.Des and a PhD. Routes are announced each year on the IIITDM admission portal. The integrated M.Des plus PhD route has accepted GATE or CEED scores, followed by an interview. PhD applicants need a master's degree in design, technology or architecture.

Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
