About Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology

MAIT is a private, GGSIPU-affiliated engineering and management institute in Rohini, Delhi, running B.Tech, BBA and MBA programmes.

MAIT was started in 1999 by the Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society, with a first batch of 180 B.Tech students. It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and approved by AICTE. Its Rohini campus offers B.Tech in computer science, electronics, electrical, IT and mechanical branches, plus BBA, a five-year integrated BBA-MBA and an MBA.

Admission

Admission through: Entrance test, Lateral

MAIT admits students under the rules of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, whose counselling rounds fill its seats. The MBA uses CAT or CMAT scores, and undergraduate programmes refer to CUET. Diploma holders can join B.Tech in the second year through the university's CET lateral entry.

Bachelor of Business Administration: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks
Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
