Bharat Institute of Technology (BIT) Meerut is a private 14-acre campus on NH-58 offering engineering, pharmacy, management, computer applications and teacher education courses.

Bharat Institute of Technology, or BIT Meerut, was set up in 2001 on the Partapur Bypass along NH-58 in Meerut. The 14-acre campus is approved by AICTE and PCI and is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. B.Tech is the largest course, with around 450 seats across computer science, IT and AI and machine learning. It also offers B.Pharm (100 seats), D.Pharm, polytechnic diplomas, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Pharm. The campus has separate hostels, a central library, computer labs, a bus fleet, sports facilities and a medical room.

Admission

Admission through: Entrance test, Merit

Students apply online and choose a course and branch. B.Tech admission uses JEE Main or CUET UG scores with state counselling, and M.Tech and M.Pharm use GATE or GPAT. Other courses such as BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA and diplomas go through counselling and merit-based seat allotment. Selected students verify documents in person and pay the admission fee.

• Diploma in Engineering: Studying in: Class 10; Must have studied: Mathematics; Must have studied: English; Science also compulsory
• Diploma in Pharmacy: Studying in: Class 12; Science subjects as specified by PCI; institution must be PCI-approved
• Bachelor of Business Administration: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks
• Bachelor of Computer Applications: Studying in: Class 12; any stream; universities set their own minimum marks (some run a mathematics bridge course)
• Bachelor of Education: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's and/or master's degree in a relevant discipline
• Bachelor of Pharmacy: Studying in: Class 12; Science subjects as specified by PCI Education Regulations; institution must be PCI-approved for the degree to count for registration
• Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
• Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
• Master of Computer Applications: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
• Master of Pharmacy: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Pharmacy; At least 55% marks in UG; B.Pharm from a PCI-approved institution; registration with the State Pharmacy Council (required by JSS AHER within one month of admission)
• Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
