About COEP Technological University
COEP Technological University in Shivajinagar, Pune, formerly College of Engineering Pune, is a unitary public university of the Government of Maharashtra running B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and PhD.
COEP Technological University grew out of the Poona Engineering Class and Mechanical School, which opened in July 1854, and was long known as the College of Engineering Pune. It is now a unitary public university of the Government of Maharashtra, with its campus on Wellesley Road in Shivajinagar, Pune. Its School of Engineering and Technology covers civil, computer, electrical, electronics and telecommunication, instrumentation, mechanical, metallurgy, manufacturing and planning, while a second school handles sciences, humanities and management. Programmes include B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, PhD, PG diplomas and certificate courses.
