About Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University at Lonere, Raigad, is a Maharashtra state technological university set up in 1989, with B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and PhD programmes.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) was set up under a Maharashtra Act of 1989 and has its main campus at Lonere in Mangaon taluka of Raigad district. Since 2016 it has also worked as the affiliating technological university for many engineering colleges in the state, under a 2014 Act. The UGC recognises it under Sections 2(f) and 12B. University departments on campus cover chemical, civil, computer, electrical, electronics and telecommunication, information technology, mechanical and petrochemical engineering. Recent additions include a B.Tech in electronics (VLSI), M.Tech in remote sensing and GIS and in cyber security, an MBA in innovation and entrepreneurship, and an MCA.

DBATU posts admission notices for B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and other programmes on its admissions page, with online applications through its ERP portal. PhD admission is through the university's own PhD entrance test (DBATU-PET).
