Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology, known as HCET, was started in 1997 by the Hitkarini Sabha, an old educational society of Jabalpur that also runs schools and other colleges in the city. The engineering campus is at Hitkarini Hills on Dumna Road, on the eastern edge of Jabalpur towards the airport. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and approved by AICTE. B.Tech branches include computer science, AI and machine learning, data science, information technology, mechanical, civil, electrical and electronics, and electronics and communication. B.Tech admission uses JEE Main scores and Class 12 PCM marks through the Madhya Pradesh engineering counselling and the college's own merit round for any vacant seats. M.Tech seats are filled on GATE scores or the notified entrance route followed by counselling. MBA admission follows the state management counselling and college notices.
