About Indian Institute of Information Technology Lucknow
IIIT Lucknow is an Institute of National Importance in Lucknow, set up by the Central Government in public-private partnership, offering B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA and PhD.
IIIT Lucknow is one of the IIITs set up by the Central Government in public-private partnership mode, with funding from the Ministry of Education, the Government of Uttar Pradesh and U.P. Electronics Corporation. It took its first B.Tech batch in 2015–16 and is now an Institute of National Importance by Act of Parliament. The campus is at Chak Ganjaria, C.G. City, Lucknow. It runs B.Tech in IT and computer science streams, an M.Tech in Computer Science, M.Sc programmes in Data Science, AI & ML and Economics & Management, an MBA in Digital Business and a PhD.

Admission
Admission through: Entrance test
B.Tech seats are filled through JoSAA and CSAB counselling based on JEE Main. M.Tech admission is through CCMT. Admitted B.Tech students pay the balance fee to the institute after the seat acceptance amount paid at JoSAA or CSAB.

- Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
- Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
- Master of Science: Studying in: UG; bachelor's degree in the relevant subject; two-year M.Sc after a three-year bachelor's or one-year M.Sc after a four-year bachelor's; universities set their own marks
- Master of Technology: Studying in: UG; Enrolled in: Bachelor of Technology; At least 50% marks in UG; B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline; GATE score preferred
- Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
