SVU College of Engineering on the Sri Venkateswara University campus in Tirupati offers B.Tech in six branches, M.Tech in each branch and PhD research.
SVU College of Engineering is the engineering college of Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati. Its foundation stone was laid by Jawaharlal Nehru on 13 October 1959, and it began with Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Today it runs four-year B.Tech courses in Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical and Computer Science and Engineering, with M.Tech and PhD study in all these branches. Five B.Tech branches have held NBA accreditation. The college has laboratories and workshops for each department, a computer centre, a placement cell, a Siemens centre and separate gymnasiums for men and women.

Admission
Admission through: Entrance test
B.Tech seats at SVU College of Engineering are filled through the Andhra Pradesh state engineering entrance test and counselling. M.Tech admission is through the state postgraduate engineering entrance or GATE route as notified by the university, and PhD admission follows the university research notification.
