The Department of Management Studies at ABV-IIITM Gwalior runs a two-year MBA (50 seats), the integrated B.Tech in IT plus MBA (60 seats) and a PhD.

The Department of Management Studies is the business school of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, a centrally funded institute on Morena Link Road, Gwalior. It runs a two-year MBA with 50 seats. It also teaches the five-year integrated B.Tech in Information Technology plus MBA (IMG), which takes 60 students straight after Class 12 and mixes IT engineering with management. Research scholars can register for a PhD in management. For the 2025 batch the MBA institute fee is ₹90,000 per semester, about ₹1.8 lakh a year, and the integrated programme fee is ₹97,000 per semester, both without hostel. SC and ST students do not pay tuition.

Admission

Admission through: Entrance test, Interview

B.Tech CSE seats are filled through JEE Main followed by JoSAA/CSAB counselling, and other UG and integrated programmes are filled once a year through the entrance exam set by the IIIT Council. M.Tech, MS and MBA admissions take place once a year through entrance exams specified by the IIIT Council, while PhD admissions are held twice a year. Foreign nationals and Indian students abroad are admitted through DASA.

Bachelor of Technology: Studying in: Class 12; Must have studied: Physics; Must have studied: Mathematics; At least 45% marks in Class 12; one more subject from the AICTE list (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology)
Master of Business Administration: Studying in: UG; At least 50% marks in UG; bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline
Doctor of Philosophy: Studying in: PG; At least 55% marks in PG
